Dubai British School Jumeirah Park Foundation (DBF) offers the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for Foundation 1 and 2.

The EYFS sets standards for the learning, development and the care of children from birth to 5 years old and concentrates on 7 areas of learning, defined as prime and specific areas of learning.

The prime areas of learning are:

  • Personal, social and emotional development;
  • Communication and language;
  • Physical development

The specific areas of learning are:

  • Literacy;
  • Mathematics;
  • Understanding the world;
  • Expressive arts and design.

The seven areas of learning are interrelated. They are not taught in isolation, but holistically through a range of strategies. This ensures a well-rounded education for your child

Students enrolled at DBF will be automatically transferred to the Dubai British School Jumeirah Park (DBSJP) to continue the studies. DBF and DBSJP are essentially one school but operate on two separate campuses.

To join DBSEH, parents must apply separately and admission will be subject to availability of places.
